Oral Presentation Scaffold

In 5 minutes during class in Week 11, students are to provide a simple reflection on the process of developing their A2 Part B written advocacy submission/briefing/ letter.

 The presentation has three parts: 

• Retell: summarise the social problem/advocacy topic. What change do you want to see?
• Relate this to what you learned in the unit, for example through class discussions or readings, giving one or two specific examples.
• Reflect on the challenge of advocacy from your vantage point as a social work student. Give your opinion and communicate your perspective.
